TMI editors freed after remand request denied

KUALA LUMPUR: Three editors from The Malaysian Insider (TMI) walked out of the Dang Wangi police headquarters to cheers from Malaysian journalists after police failed to get a remand order on them.

Lionel Morais, Zulkifli Sulong and Amin Iskandar were released on police bail at 6.30pm yesterday after they were picked up by police from their office in Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya on Monday.
