Thai official dies during walkabout at Rasa Ria nature reserve

KOTA KINABALU: A senior Thai government official died after taking a walk at the Rasa Ria Nature Reserve in Tuaran, some 35km from the state capital.

Sawang Tipayanukool, 52, from Thailand's department of national parks, wildlife and plant conservation fainted while resting at the resort lobby after the walk at about 11am Wednesday.
