KUALA LUMPUR: Senior lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah has filed a defamation suit against the Bar Council and three others.
Shafee’s lead counsel Datuk Kamarul Hisham Kamaruddin told reporters at his injunction hearing here yesterday that three other parties named as defendants in the suit are senior lawyer Tommy Thomas, former Court of Appeal judge Tan Sri VC George and former Malaysian Bar president Christopher Leong.
