GEORGE TOWN: Hong Kong-based lawyer Kong Si Ying always made it a point to return home during Qing Ming to pay homage to her late grandfather.

“As a young girl, I always heard inspiring stories about my grandfather Tai Chee Meng. He was the one I looked up to as a child. He was once given the role model teacher award at the national level back in the 1970s.
