KOTA BARU: Former minister and lawyer Datuk Zaid Ibrahim said that challenging the implementation of the Syariah Criminal Code II 1993 (amendments 2015) in Kelantan will not make him an apostate or a lesser Muslim than a PAS member.
However, he will not proceed with the challenge because Gerakan already filed an originating summons against the Kelantan government on March 18 to declare the enforcement of hudud as unconstitutional and illegal.
