MALACCA: All trees located within the jurisdiction of the Malacca local authorities will receive identification tags similar to the MyKad in a move by the state government to protect them.
State Housing, Local Government and Environment committee chairman Datuk Ismail Othman said all four local councils in the state were finalising the tree-tagging exercise to identify the trees.
