JOHOR BARU: Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has launched a month-long royal exhibition here in honour of his coronation.
The "Mahkota Jauhar Junjungan Negeri" exhibition, organised by the state government and the National Archives of Malaysia, started this Saturday and will be available for public viewing until April 25 at the Persada Johor international convention centre here.
It features some 168 pieces of photo-paintings of the Sultan attending historical events with various leaders and sultans.
After the launch, Sultan Ibrahim and Permaisuri Raja Zarith Sofiah binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah took the opportunity to view the exhibition for themselves.
The public can also get a rare chance of viewing the Sultan's regal crown and the Permaisuri Johor's diadem.
Both were worn during the recent coronation ceremony.
