MCA welcomes support from MPs

Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai

KUALA LUMPUR: The MCA welcomes MPs from Sabah and Sarawak to openly oppose hudud, said party president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

Referring to de facto law minister Nancy Shukri’s comment that PAS’ Private Member’s Bill on hudud would never be approved as it would not get any votes from Sarawak lawmakers, he said Nancy’s statement was a “very good announcement”.
