Bintulu MP pads suggestions on GST with some comic relief

Lawmakers were in stitches when Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing raised the issue of the Goods and Services Tax in the Dewan Rakyat.

Tiong, who suggested that the Government implements the GST in stages, drew laughter when he said women even scolded him as the GST would be imposed on necessities such as sanitary products, biscuits and tomato sauce.
