Office boy gets jail and rotan in CBT case


GEORGE TOWN: An office boy has been sentenced to nine months in jail and ordered to be given one stroke of the rotan by a magistrate’s court here after he pleaded guilty to committing criminal breach of trust (CBT).

Faizul Hadi Abu Mohamed, 26, from Jelutong, was charged with keeping RM300,000 of the RM480,000 he was entrusted to deposit on Nov 29, 2011, into the bank account of the company he worked for.
