Liow: The journey ahead is tough, but MCA will persevere

IT has been almost 15 months since Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai became MCA president. His immediate pledge after the party polls in December 2013 was to transform the party and lead it into a new era.

In an interview with The Star, ahead of the party’s 66th anniversary celebrations tomorrow, Liow spoke on the challenges faced by the party, community and nation; and how MCA has to step up its efforts to keep its transformation plan on track amid a challenging scenario from the economy to security at home and abroad.
