More e-filing users expected this year

KUALA LUMPUR: The e-filing system is expected to receive four million users logging in to file their income tax returns this year after it was proven to be popular among younger taxpayers.

Inland Revenue Board (IRB) chief executive officer Tan Sri Dr Mohd Shukor Mahfar said the online system, introduced in 2006, received overwhelming response from young taxpayers with 3.8 million users last year.
