PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak chaired the first meeting of the National Export Council (NEC), set up to serve as a catalyst to propel Malaysia's exports.
In a statement released after the meeting here yesterday, the council said its formation was aimed at boosting exports through better facilitation, including improving processes, procedures, regulations and documentation for exports, infrastructure, certification requirements and logistics.
