Prof wants army to move in to help eradicate dengue

KUALA LUMPUR: A professor has proposed the army to be mobilised to work with the community to eradicate dengue.

Datuk Dr CP Ramachandran, who advised the World Health Organisation on lymphatic filariasis, said the Government should get the military to be involved and worked together with the public to do clean-ups on a consistent basis in view of the soaring number of dengue cases in the country.
