Flash floods cause traffic congestion in Cheras


A car was stalled after it was submerged in water after the heavy downpour.

KUALA LUMPUR: A heavy evening downpour caused flash floods and massive traffic congestion along Jalan Cheras and the Billion roundabout towards Kajang, Wednesday.

KL City Hall's Integrated Transport Information System (ITIS DBKL) said that floodwaters began to rise at about 5pm, wreaking havoc along the 2km stretch.
