KUALA LUMPUR: A magnitude 6.4 earthquake jolted south Sumatra at 6.37pm Tuesday.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department in a statement said the epicentre was 71km southwest of Siberut, Indonesia and 511km southwest of Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.
