GEORGE TOWN: There was no rush at the state’s Customs Department offices despite it being the last day for some 60,000 companies to register for the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
A check by The Star at the department’s office at Bangunan Tuanku Syed Putra in Downing Street showed several officers on duty but there was no long line of business owners rushing to register.
