New future: The palace, also known as Balai Rasmi, will be converted into Naning’s Adat Perpatih Museum in Malacca.
MALACCA: The state government is firm in declaring the official palace of Naning’s Adat Perpatih chieftain at Bukit Seri Naning in Alor Gajah as a museum despite the wave of discontentment.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the state government took into consideration the recommendations made by its predecessors that the palace should be turned into a museum to showcase the 100-year-old regalia and heirlooms of the Naning Kingdom.
