KUALA LUMPUR: Malay filmmakers should stop producing movies and serials with “flawed lingo” and undesirable portrayal of luxury, said Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) director-general Datuk Dr Awang Sariyan (pic).
Instead, he said, they should focus more on using “proper” language and produce movies which would help build knowledge and intelligence, in line with efforts by the Government, including DBP.
