Ong: Govt must encourage consumer spending too


IPOH: Besides putting in place the necessary mechanisms for the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax on April 1, the Government must encourage consumer spending, said MCA secretary-general Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan (pix).

The Government, said Ong, must do both in order for it to achieve its targeted RM46bil tax revenue for the year.
