Better services expected to boost public transportation

KUALA LUMPUR: Some 22 million Malaysians will have access to better stage bus services in less than five years, with each vehicle arriving in about 20 minutes at the stops.

An initiative by the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) will involve the Government paying the bus operators to manage the services and setting a mandatory service standard.
