PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia is saddened to learn of the death of Kayla Mueller, an American humanitarian aid worker, who was taken captive by the Islamic State (IS) militants in 2013, and reportedly killed in Syria.
“Malaysia strongly condemns the senseless captivity and imprisonment of innocent civilians, which had led to Mueller’s death,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
