PETALING JAYA: The police will investigate Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming and political cartoonist Zunar over tweets concerning the Federal Court's conviction of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for sodomising former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said Nga, who is also the Perak DAP chairman, will be investigated under the Sedition Act over his tweet, allegedly calling on the people to stand up against the “oppressive regime”.
