Guan Eng: Local council polls reflected in Pakatan’s common policy framework

PETALING JAYA: DAP maintains that its position with regard to restoring local government elections was reflected in Pakatan Rakyat’s common policy framework adopted by the coalition’s partners in 2009 under a phrase to “strengthen local government democracy”.

Party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said in a statement Monday that the matter was also reflected in Pakatan’s 13th general election manifesto for Penang and Selangor.
