Gan: We’ll challenge if PAS tries to table hudud Bill

PETALING JAYA: PAS lawmakers will face procedural and legal challenges if they try to table a Private Member’s Bill in Parliament next month for hudud implementation in Kelantan, said MCA’s special task force on Syariah implementation and policy.

“We will contemplate taking the Kelantan state government to court and challenge the constitutionality of the Bill at the opportune time,” said task force chief Gan Ping Sieu.
