JOHOR BARU: Red carrot plants have become a hot item for this year’s Lunar New Year celebrations with many believing it will bring good fortune and better luck for owners.

Katsuka Landscape Maintenance Sdn Bhd nursery assistant Ten Mei Yoke said sales of the cute and unique vegetable planted in round white ceramic pots had been picking up, especially over the past few weeks.
