EPF rubbishes nomination claim

GEORGE TOWN: A chain e-mail regarding the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) nomination is untrue, said the fund.

A chain e-mail widely circulated in the social media had stated that if one of the nominees in the EPF nominee list dies, the whole arrangement in the list is automatically void. This despite having a few names in the list, and the member’s money would be channelled to the trustee of Amanah Raya upon the death of the EPF member.
