UiTM: Victim not kidnapped from campus before murder

SEPANG: Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) on Tuesday denied claims that its student at Permatang Pauh, Penang, was kidnapped from the campus grounds before her throat was slit by her boyfriend.

UiTM deputy vice-chancellor of student affairs Professor Datuk Dr Abdullah Mohammed Said said the victim, Nursyuhada Johari, 20, had met up with the suspect outside the campus before she willingly entered his car, and the duo moved to a different location.
