JOHOR BARU: Johor Corporation (JCorp) has announced its intentions to take over the management of National Feedlot Centre’s (NFC) facilities.

JCorp president and chief executive officer Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim said, however, that the corporation was not interested in taking over the centre, only the management of its farm in Gemas.

Kamaruzzaman said that JCorp was confident of its ability based on more than 10 years experience in handling 10 feedlot farms in the state.

He added that the corporation would hold further discussions with the Veterinary Department.

Kamaruzzaman was speaking at the launch of Hari Bistari 2015 at Kompleks Mutiara Johor Land here, on Wednesday.
