MUAR: The Government has allocated RM26mil for the economic development of 15 villages under the Program Desa Lestari targeted for rural folk nationwide this year.
Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal said that the amount was an increase from last year's RM20mil to finance the economic development in the excellent villages and benefit some 30,000 villagers.
