MCA urges MAS to step-up IT security


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has been urged to improve its IT (information technology) security after the airline’s website was compromised on Monday.

“We urge MAS, AirAsia and all other commercial airlines to toughen up their firewall and all other forms of IT security to prevent further cyber terrorism and IT crimes,” MCA Publicity Bureau chairman Datuk Chai Kim Sen said in a statement Monday.
