PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Alwi Ibrahim – the Home Ministry’s deputy secretary-general (security) – has been appointed its secretary-general effective tomorrow, succeeding Datuk Seri Mohamad Khalid Shariff.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa said the appointment of Alwi, 55, was in line with the Government's aspiration to empower the civil service through transformation.
