Tee Yong: Budget adjustments a bold step


KUALA LUMPUR: Slashing the country’s operating expenditure by RM5.5bil while retaining the budget for development will stabilise economic development in the short run, said MCA vice-president Datuk Chua Tee Yong (pic).

Calling the move a bold step, Chua, who is also Deputy Finance Minister, said it was something that needed to be done.
