Gaza killings forgotten by the West, says Dr M

CYBERJAYA: The outpouring of sadness by Western countries following the attack on satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo which left 12 people dead appears to be insincere when they have not mourned the thousands who have died in Gaza, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said.

Although he expressed sympathy with the people who had died in Paris and fully condemned the killings as an act of terrorism, Dr Mahathir said Western countries seemed to “forget” about those who had been killed in Palestine.
