School hires this year’s CNY animal to give pupils a close-up view

KLANG: Chinese New Year is already in the air at SJK (C) Pandamaran A with 15 goats brought in for the students to sketch in a special drawing competition.

The competition was to enable the pupils to better understand Chinese culture and beliefs, and the significance of the goat year in the Chinese lunar calendar, said the school’s board of trustees chairman Datuk Teh Meng Huat.
