GEORGE TOWN: The Bandar Baru Ayer Itam Mosque committee lodged a police report this Friday against an independent Islamic preacher for allegedly linking the Maulidur Rasul celebration to Thaipusam.
The preacher allegedly made the link during a recent talk, of which a 47-second video clip went viral in early January after being uploaded to Youtube.
