IPOH: Former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, who has been charged with criminal defamation, was granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal by the Sessions Court here.
Mohammad Nizar had in August last year pleaded not guilty to defaming Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak during a ceramah at Taman Desa Pakatan between 9pm and midnight on April 23, 2012.
