IPOH: Former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, charged with criminal defamation, has been granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal, by the Sessions Court Tuesday.
Mohammad Nizar had in August last year pleaded not guilty to defaming Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak during a ceramah at Taman Desa Pakatan here between 9pm and midnight on April 23, 2012.
