Employment insurance scheme set to take off this year


MIRI: The proposed employment insurance scheme aimed at assisting retrenched wor­kers is expected to be tabled in Parliament for approval in March.

Human Resource Minister Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem said the paper on the proposal would be discussed at a Cabinet meeting at the end of this month.
