KUALA LUMPUR: Former Federal Court judge Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram (pic), who caused a stir when he acted as Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s lead counsel, has set up his own law firm to avoid any conflict of interest.
Sri Ram denied claims that his new firm came about because he was pressured to quit Soo Thien Ming & Nashra where he acted as a consultant, after he represented the Opposition Leader in his appeal against conviction on a sodomy charge.
