TAWAU: Marine police have thwarted an attempt to smuggle various controlled and subsidised goods valued at RM17,675 since Friday under a special operation code-named Ops Paradise.
Sabah Marine Police Region 4 commander Asst Comm Mohamad Madun said the seized goods included sugar, cooking oil and liquor.
