Tonnes of goods flown to Kota Baru

PETALING JAYA: Three tonnes of items donated through The Star-MRCS-Firefly Relief Fund have been delivered to the Subang Skypark Terminal from the collection centre at The Star yesterday.

Firefly chief executive officer Ignatius Ong said from there the airline’s carriers will transport the donations to Kota Baru, where on-ground NGO personnel will see to it that the cargo – which included bottled water, food provisions, disposable diapers and clothes – reaches the affected areas.
