AirAsia plane overshoots runway in the Philippines

KALIBO, Philippines: An AirAsia jet overshot the Kalibo Airport runway upon landing Tuesday afternoon, affecting all evening flights at the airport.

In an advisory, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said the AirAsia plane carrying 153 passengers and six crew members overshot the airport's Runway 23 at 5.43pm.
