KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, who initially declined to head the working committee on the state’s illegal immigrants issue, has decided to take up the position.
“It is important to take responsibility in light of how I will be able to assist towards resolving this perennial problem,” he told reporters after returning from a two-week holiday yesterday.
