Air Kelantan opts for high-tech system


Amazing technology: The AKSB’s water plant that uses a hydro automatic Deferum system, which removes concentrations of contaminants in raw water. According to W. Mohd Zamri (top right) and Mohamad Hanapi, the system’s unique technology promises better water production and easier maintenance.

KOTA BARU: Kelantan has adopted a high-tech and holistic system to provide clean, pure water to consumers.

Since the state’s first open well began operations in the 1940s in Kampung Puteh, other wells had gradually opened up throughout the state.
