PETALING JAYA: The 34-year-old unemployed man accused of raping his 12-year-old stepdaughter for nearly a year also allegedly sodomised his four-year-old daughter too.

The shocking revelation came from the girl herself after she realised that what his father had been doing was a crime.

“The girl had asked her mother where her father was and she explained that he was arrested by police for allegedly sexually abusing his stepsister.

"That’s when the girl revealed what the man had done to her,” said Ampang Jaya OCPD ACP Khairuldin Saad.

Doctors confirmed that the girl had been sodomised. However, the man's two other children were not abused.

The man is expected to be charged in court today (Friday) for carnal intercourse against the order of nature under Section 377C of the Penal Code. He faces up to 20 years' in jail and whipping.

The man was arrested at his home in Kampung Cheras Baru on Dec 13 after the stepdaughter told her mother that she had been raped twice a week.

The mother packed her belongings and took her four children to live with relatives. The couple has three children together from 10 years of marriage. The girl was a child from the mother’s previous marriage.

The girl said the suspect would rape her in her bedroom or at his.

The rapes took place whenever the mother was out working and the girl's siblings were playing outside.

“She can’t remember how many times he has done it to her. She told us that it has happened too many times - maybe even twice a week,” ACP Khairuldin reportedly said.
