ALOR SETAR: Contraband cigarettes and liquor with unpaid duties amounting to more than RM1mil were seized by the Langkawi marine police in Kuala Kedah here.
Its commander DSP Rodzi Abu Hassan said a marine police team stopped a lorry driven by a 55-year-old man during an operation codenamed Ops Landai at about 9.30am yesterday.
