SUBANG JAYA: A group of Indonesians working here claimed they have been cheated by a money changer, whose services they had used to transfer tens of thousands of ringgit back to their families.

Besides losing money, they are now in a sticky situation as police is probing if the remittance process – which allows foreigners to move large amounts of money with a much lower exchange rate – is legal.
