MALACCA: Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners are appealing to the Health Ministry to grant them empowerment in issuing valid medical certificates (MCs) in view of the growing number of patients seeking traditional and complementary medicine (TCM).
President of the Malaysian Chinese Medical Association Dr Yong Wee Seong said currently, TCM practitioners had no clout to issue MCs and this was considered a setback for the industry in providing efficient treatment and therapies to the patients.
