The royal town of Selangor

The Sultan Sulaiman Mosque was constructed in 1932 and officially opened in 1934.

ASK ANY Klangite about their town and they’ll tell you that there’s no place like Klang. The royal town, which is steeped in history, used to be Selangor’s administrative centre before Kuala Lumpur and Shah Alam came into being.

The town is divided into Klang North and Klang South by the Klang River and most places of interest and new commercial centres are currently concentrated in Klang South due to the development of new places like Bukit Tinggi and Taman Botanic.
